What we do (model)

The LEGACY Youth Project is a model of educational equity, using evidence-based research and strategies that effectively serve the unique needs of students and their families. Often referred to as a “second home,” LYP provides a culturally responsive pathway and support system for students. Our program model, also known as our Heartwork Pedagogy consists of 8 interconnected components proven to close the achievement gap, increase educational opportunity and create social transformation.
